Anthony Boccaccio began his career with National Geographic Magazine in 1971, and is best known for his beautiful travel photography. Trained in classical painting, sculpture, and music, Boccaccio also has an intimate knowledge of Rome to share with you.

Major points of interest depending on tour selected include: St. Peter’s Square, Castel Sant’Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Teatro Marcello, Michelangelo’s Campidoglio Square, the Roman Forum, and the Coliseum.

As part of the small group under Boccaccio's guidance, you'll learn to use perspective to your advantage and play with light and shadow. You'll get tips on how to use colour, contrast, and detail to create captivating images. Choose between a morning, afternoon, and twilight tour, each of which reveals a different characteristic of the Eternal city. Watch the early mist of sunrise give way to the brilliance of the noon sun or snap colourful piazzas bathed in the brilliant radiance of the afternoon light. Just don't forget your camera—whether digital or film.
