Built on the trade route between central Asia and northern Europe, Novgorod was Russia's first capital during the ninth century. Surrounded by churches and monasteries, it was once also considered a spiritual centre and medieval monuments and frescoes still stand as a testament to its architectural development. Visit the Novgorod Kremlin, the old market place on the banks of the River Volkhov, the Church of the Saviour, and the Yuriev Monastery.

Hotel pick-up is available for hotels located in Saint Petersburg only. You must contact MariaRose Tours 24 hours before your tour date to confirm your pick-up arrangements. If your hotel is not serviced with a pick-up, you will be given an alternative meeting point. Commentary is in English only; commentary in German and French is also available if arrangements are made in advance. Commentary in other languages is possible for a supplementary charge.

After booking your activity—3 easy steps: 1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site. 2. Take all vouchers with you. 3. Follow the instructions on your voucher; you must exchange one voucher per person.
How to exchange your voucher(s):
You must contact MariaRose Tours at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour date to confirm your hotel pick-up location and meeting time. On the day of your tour, your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel; please present your voucher(s) before the tour departs. |

The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel. |
