Details

Explore the beautiful city of Sydney, including the buildings that make it one of the most distinctive skylines in the world. The Sydney Opera House is famous for its grand location at Bennelong Point on Sydney Harbour, with its silhouette of spherical-sectioned shells evoking the beauty of sailboats cruising the largest natural harbor in the world.

Meet your professional guide at Circular Quay, the birthplace of the Australian nation, site of the initial landing of the First Fleet in Port Jackson. Circular Quay is also the home of Sydney's Art Deco-style Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), dedicated to exhibiting, interpreting, and collecting contemporary art from across Australia and around the world.

Established in 1788 and known in Australia as the Harbour City, Sydney is globally recognized for its amazing Harbour Bridge, the widest long-span bridge and largest single-arch bridge in the world.

Immediately adjacent to Circular Quay and Sydney Cove, the historic Rocks district is one of the earliest Australian settlements, with original buildings made of local sandstone, giving the area its nickname. The Royal Botanic Gardens, established in 1816, overlook Farm Cove and feature the varied flora of Australia, plus a dedicated tropical center, gardens, indigenous art, kiosks, and cafés.

Sydney’s outstanding oceanic climate offers warm and wonderful summers, perfect for enjoying more than 70 harbor and ocean beaches, including the famous Bondi Beach (pronounced "Bond-eye").
