The Thompson River, one of British Columbia's most popular rivers for rafting, will take you on a wild ride. The river, which provides 19 major rapids, grows more and more active in the last two hours of your adventure. Prepare yourself for the famous "Jaws of Death," "Cutting Board," and "Witches Cauldron." After a day on the rapids whet your appetite for lunch served by the river.

Hyak Wilderness Adventure Centre approximately 4.5 hours after departure

Note:
NEXT STEP AFTER BOOKING ONLINE: After booking online and printing your voucher(s), you must call Hyak Wilderness Adventures at least 2 days prior to your departure to confirm receipt of your online reservation and finalize rafting details including driving directions. All pricing includes a 3% land use fee. Bring sneakers, a warm sweater, and a windbreaker or rain jacket to protect yourself from the elements and to keep warm. Hot showers are available at the end of the trip, so don't forget to bring a towel. Everything you wear on the river will get wet, so jeans and cotton clothing are not recommended. Eyeglasses and sunglasses should be worn with a secure sports safety strap. Contact lenses are rarely a problem, and, in fact, are worn by many professional guides. Cameras and lots of film are recommended since there is magnificent scenery. Hyak Wilderness Adventures reserves the right to alter or cancel any trip due to conditions beyond control.

    After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
    1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
    2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it iscritical to do this before you depart.
    3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

    NEXT STEP AFTER BOOKING ONLINE: After booking online and printing your voucher(s), you must call Hyak Wilderness Adventures at least 2 days prior to your departure to confirm receipt of your online reservation and finalize rafting details including driving directions. This final step is required to confirm your participation in this activity. The phone number and customer service hours appear on your voucher(s). Upon arrival, present your voucher and photo ID to the tour guide for verification. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure. Note: This trip includes class III and IV rapids and is not intended for children ages 9 years and younger.
