Located in the heart of Vienna's Museums Quartier, the Leopold Museum is a treasure trove of Viennese Jugendstil, the Wiener Werkstätte, and Expressionism. Its claim to fame is housing the world's largest Egon Schiele collection, as well as masterworks by Secession founder Gustav Klimt. The museum is also home to a number of objects created by artists of the Wiener Werkstätte, including Josef Hoffmann and Kolo Moser.|
An added perk of this museum is its panorama windows that offer a wonderful view over central Vienna including Maria Theresa Square and the Hofburg Palace. After viewing art, you can take part in a Viennese tradition, at Cafe Leopold. There, Kaffee und Kuchen (coffee and cake) await you.
