The venue:
The splendor of Schoenbrunn Palace provides an ideal venue for enjoying the very best of Viennese classical music. Once the summer residence of Austrian Emperors, the palace was the scene of a historic classical music play-off: Wolfgang Mozart conducted the premiere ofThe Impresario while rival Antonio Salieri's works were being performed at the opposite end of the hall.
The concert:
Today, you can still enjoy Mozart's operas, arias, and symphonies at Schoenbrunn Palace, together with waltz and polka masterpieces composed by Johan Strauss. These are interpreted by the Palace's resident orchestra, opera singers, and ballet dancers in either the Orangery, the Great Gallery, or in the White Gold Room.
Seating:
Choose between three levels of seating: Category A seats are at the front of the hall; Category B seats are in the middle; and Category C seats are at the back.

Dinner takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The concert runs approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Note:
The dinner takes place either at the Restaurant Residenz or the Orangery. Dinner start time is 6:30 PM. Beverages are not included in the listed rates and must be paid for separately at the restaurant. Concerts November to March are performed by a smaller ensemble. The full orchestra performs April to October and between Christmas and New Year's only. Concerts may be held in the Orangery, the Great Gallery, or the White Gold Room. All tickets are seated. Seats are not assigned, although they are divided into front, middle, and back sections. Admission to the concert hall begins at 8 PM. On December 24, the concert begins at 3 PM. On New Year's Eve, the concert begins at 7 PM.

After booking your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site. 2. Take all vouchers with you. 3. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; you must exchange one voucher per person.
How to exchange your voucher(s):
Please phone IMaGE Performing Arts Promotion at least 48 hours in advance of the concert to confirm your reservation and the concert room; the customer service number will be listed on your voucher(s). On the day of your concert, please bring your voucher(s) to the Box Office at the Orangery, Your voucher(s) will be exchanged for a ticket. Please arrive at the box office at least 15 minutes before the start of the concert (8:15 PM) or dinner (6:15 PM). Schoenbrunn Palace can be reached by taking the metro line 4 to Schoenbrunn station. Turn right upon exiting the station. Note: On December 24, the concert begins at 3 PM.

Cancellations and Changes: This Activity can be changed or cancelled without penalty at any time prior to 72 hours before the scheduled start of your trip. The scheduled start of your trip is defined as your hotel check-in date, your departure date of the originating flight, or the date of the Activity if the Activity was booked without a flight or a hotel. |
