excellent hotel for my wallet
The best hotel I ever stayed in for my little wallet. It is right on the beach and it has a very nice swimming pool as well. The first day there were absolutely no waves and the water was crystal clear. I could see all the way to the bottom at about 5 ft. With snorkeling devices was even more fun. When any little waves come in though, you can’t see much :( The parking is not that expensive either. The area is very nice, and we had a great experience. Even know it is one of the smaller hotels on that strip, I would definitely recommend it.
I think the month of October is a good time to visit. Not too crowded, not too expensive.

Superb location next to the beach
My husband, ten years old daughter and I have been staying in this hotel every time we have visited Miami for the last five years. We simply love it. The lobby and public areas have been renovated as well as the rooms in some floors. (although we have not stayed in the renovated ones yet). The rooms have many ammenities that can be very useful such as coffee maker, a small fridge, a microwave oven, an iron w/ironing board. But what we really love about the hotel is the location. It is situated next to the beach in a very upscale neighborhood full of tall beautiful buildings. There are a couple of restaurants and a CVS just across the street, and two or three blocks north, a Walgreens, Denny’s, Mc Donald’s, Tony Roma’s, so you will always have different options where to eat. If you don’t have a car, a bus that passes right by the hotel, takes you to Aventura Mall, and another one takes you to South Beach. We highly recommend this hotel.
