Great option if you work near the hotel
This isn’t a hotel for tourists. City center is only a 30 minute tram/bus ride away, but there are better options if you plan on sight-seeing. This is a great hotel if you’re in Amsterdam for work and your office is in the commercial park surrounding the hotel. The only option for food is the hotel restaurant. The nearest market is about 1-2 km away - a healthy distance if you need to run minor errands or pick up a some snacks. The hotel staff is great. Very polite and professional. The restaurant food is very good, but too pricey for me to eat at for every meal! I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be in that area for work.
Bring a raincoat and umbrella, especially if you’re here in rainy months like November.

Completely worth the tram ride
Though this hotel wasn’t in city center, it was amazing. It only took ten minutes by tram to get to all the attractions. It was clean, the people were friendly, it was QUIET, and the surrounding neighborhood was immaculate and felt very safe. I would absolutely stay there again, no question!

I loved it
It was just great!! a bit far from where all the touristic places are, but...amsterdam is a small town...it took us 50 min to get to downtown in bike...like 20-25 in tram. the hotel is really nice (and the service too) defenitely worth what you pay...the food is a bit expensive, but it’s worth as well. It gets pretty quiet at night Since it is far from central amsterdam, no lights, or distractions, excellent to get a good night sleep. If i ever go back to amsterdam, i’ll defenitely stay at the artemis again!!
