Double room - shared bathroom
The photos vs real quite different. You have to ask for room to be cleaned, towels and blankets.For a shared bathroom, has to be cleaned several times. wireless internet not working in rooms. Two blocks far from metro station. price vs place for NYC ok, nothing fancy. Clean room (floor, sheets, pillows and bed).

More than adequate hostel
I’ve stayed in several NYC hostels; the Fresh Hostel ranks as one of the better ones, by virtue of the relatively low price I paid for the single rooms. I didn’t have a problem with a bathroom situation, but I get up early, and usually don’t have such problems. In addition, I found their staff, namely Maurice, to be very helpful during my first stay there. I love the hostel’s area (the Upper West Side) and I will definitely stay here again when I’m in the city.
