relaxing serenity
THE HOTEL IS LOCATED JUST A FEW MILES FROM MY HOME,HOWEVER, IT FELT LIKE A HUNDRED. IT WAS VERY RELAXING,QUIET AND PEACEFUL. ACCOMADATIONS WERE GREAT AND STAFF HELPFUL. SURROUNDING MOUNTAINS GAVE HOTEL A FEELING OF A MOUNTAIN RESORT. I WILL RETURN SOON FOR ANOTHER PEACEFUL INTERLUDE.

A Nice Getaway
The food was great. The bed in our room was pretty dipped in the middle. The ducks quacked at various hours and woke us up. The TV was a big flat-screen with attached DVD player, but we didn’t know to take any DVD’s with us. There weren’t too many channels to choose from. The room was clean. The alarm clock had a CD player too, which is a nice touch, but the colors changed all night on the front of the clock, so we had to put a towel over it so we could sleep (it was like a neon sign flashing all night).

so near to Las vegas, so different
Anybody who gets turned on by Las Vegas will not want to come to this hotel instead. Those who’d rather have a peaceful place in the mountains, surrounded by trees, lake with ducks, etc. will love it here. The hotel is on the scale of those inside the National Parks, with soaring ceilings, huge fireplace, great restaurant and comfortable rooms. We loved it.
Traveler's tip
Great place to have a wedding. Snowboarding already in October, other skiing after the first snowfall nearby.
