Hilton San Diego, definately check it out
We did a girls weekend out at san diego, and the hilton which was close to the ’gaslamp’ district was extremely good. A few things to point out, which we looovvveeedd were it has a starbucks in the hotel itself (woohoo) the pool/spa area was amazing we lounged there the whole day on sunday. Also its walking distance to the gaslamp district, which is the hot tready area of san diego. We loved it!!! The rooms and service was really nice, bed were comfortable. It was a really good stay :-)).

Wonderful hotel but one does need to pay extra for everything
Lovely new hotel in a great location right on the harbor! The reviews mentioned that this particular Hilton does nickel and dime you for every little extra and that is true. Nevertheless it is a wonderful property and we plan to go back!

Very unsatisfactory
The facility itself, and the surrounding area were very nice. But the service was not up to the Hilton name, though I guess it used to mean more.
