Dated Hotel
Older, dated hotel with kitchen. Coffee packs were provided, but no coffee maker. Convenient to metro using free shuttle or 3 block walk. This hotel needs to be modernized.

great place to stay
I LOVE this hotel, wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The room is spacious, well kept. The kitchen is well stocked. The staff is helpful and friendly. When there was a minor issue with the stove, the staff fixed it MUCH quicker than I thought possible.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
fly into BWI and take the MARC train into the city. There is a FREE MARC shuttle from the arrival/departure area to the train station, and the train arrives at Union station. Then you can take the Metro to the hotel (redline to Metro Central, transfer to Blue or Orange line, get off @ Rosslyn station). The MARC is $6 one way, MUCH cheaper than the $60-100 for other modes of transportation.

Nice Place to Stay
This hotel was a bit older but very well maintained. The room was spacious with a separate full kitchen and a walk-in closet. There was zero noise from elevators or guests above or next door, unlike many newer hotels we’ve stayed in. Our only complaint was that the place was a bit difficult to find after dark - the sign is not high enough to be easily visible. In daylight, we discovered it was extremely easy to travel right next door to the Arlington Cemetary or across the Arlington Bridge to the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, etc. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely stay here again.
