Would definitely stay there again
The hotel staff was mostly very friendly. The woman who initially checked us in and we had the most contact with was EXTREMELY nice. She was very helpful with any questions we had. It would have been a "5" straight across except for one of the gentlemen who worked the desk a couple of evenings was rather rude. The area around the hotel is great. There are several bakeries, restaurants, bars and stores. The hotel is indeed only a couple of blocks from The St. Georges stop on the Metro.

Quiet, quaint, and lovely.
This is a small hotel a bit off the beaten path, but in a neighborhood filled with restaurants, chocolat shoppes, and patissiers. Donia, the desk clerk, was especially helpful and friendly. The rooms are small, but clean. I would consider staying there again if I returned to Paris.
We took a bus tour the first day and a half to learn the layout of the city and decide what areas to visit. We have done this in other cities. In Paris, the traffic was so congested that the bus was quite slow. Learn the Metro system and use it. Very easy.

This hotel is a gem...
The location was great for getting around Paris. It is a fifteen minute walk to Sacre Couer and Montmarte. The Metro was close as were the buses. Eating was no problem as the area is surrounded with restaurants, small groceries and bakeries. The staff, particularly Dounia and Lisa, spoke wonderful English and were able to direct us on how to get around. The room was clean and neat, but small, and we enjoyed having a refrigerator in the room so we could economize on water, snacks and soda pop. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for convenience, safety and comfort in Paris.
