It was what it was
It’s not an expensive place like the Ritz, but it’s not a dirt cheap mom and pop place either. It is nice for what it is; I’d say it settles nicely in the middle. Overall, we didn’t have any problems. We even got directions to a late place to eat (apparently 11:30 pm is "a little late for Rome") from a helpful concierge.

Good balance between price and quality !
If you are looking for a high quality hotel, surely this is not what you want. But if you consider the cost and performance, then this is a good choice. The hotel is located just a few blocks from the Metro station. So it is convenient to go to those main touring sites even if you don’t live in the center of Rome closing to those sites. A one-euro Metro ticket will bring you right to those sites and the price of living here is way much cheaper comparing with those hotels in the city center. The room is clean and the clerks are nice. Bad thing is there is no Internet.

Better than many
Americans will have trouble with European room sizes, but my stay was quite comfortable. Some prior reviews I read about this hotel seemed to have been addressed as my stay was quite comfortable. Breakfeast was good and the staff fairly friendly. It is out of town a couple stops in a quite section of town. There is limited meals available in this area but I did find a couple restaurants and a grocery store for the nights I did not eat at the tourist sections. Price was right for a little above a budget hotel.
