Hotel Inca Real rooms in San Jose, Costa Rica
My husband and I had a reservation for a European style double bed room. Instead, we got a room with a very ugly run-down carpet and blankets, old furniture, and one full bed size downstairs next to the restaurant. Also, my husband and I arrived late at night from the U.S.A. and asked the hotel receptionist to recommend a restaurant where we can get something to eat. He send us to a fast-food place that was surronded by prostitutes walking or standing by the fast-food place location, therefore; we had to go look for another restaurant far away from there. Also, the Hotel Inca Real is far away from the airport, and next to a bar full of prostitutes. In addition, we noticed that a guy with a prostitute was checking-in for a room at this hotel when we got back from the restaurant. We will never stay at Hotel Inca Real again.

I would stay there again
I’m a single guy that stayed in Inca Real for a night. The hotel was in the cut and a few cab drivers didn’t either know it or where it was. Eventually, it was found. Service at the hotel was good, room was fine and comfortable for me. All-in-all a positive experience. However, maybe not the best place to stay for a long period of time if you’re on that romantic get-a-way with your significant other.
