Paper thin walls
We made resevations for a room in thePyramid and we were given a room in the tower just below a canapy over looking the employee parking lot. The rooms have paper thin walls and you can hear everything in the next room. Not a very good experience.

Stay away from the Luxor. You will get what you pay for.
To try and be brief here is a list of issues we had. No hot water the entire 1st day, 2nd day hotel smelled like raw sewage. Carpets all over the hotel were damp and there were water marks on the cielings in BOTH of the rooms we were in. The shower was not cleaned while we were there (5 days). The car rental desk in the lobby is s total rip off. Take 10 minutes and book online you will save over 50%.. Then take the reservation number to the desk and they will EVENTUALLY get you a car. The hotel has not been maintained and is showing its age. Compared to the other hotels on the strip which are bright and exciting, the Luxor is DARK, DEPRESSING, and ugly. It is also not hooked to the main train track so you have a walk ahead of you. As for the shows in the Luxor, dont waste your money on Chris Angel or Carrot Top. They are there for a reason. Also, if you dont like walking beware only 1 elevator serves each corner of the pyramid so every room is a trek unless you stay right next to the elevators.

was a good experience
The bed was extremely comfortable; the service was good after we had to contact the front desk on the first day, but after that, we were totally satisfied with everything about the service. Unfortunately, it rained the 1st 2 days we were in Las Vegas but all in all the experience was good. Security was also very good because of having to use a room key to even operate the elevator or inclinator which made safety basically a non concern. thank you for a good experience once again in Las Vegas.
