Great resort, couples-oriented
We arrived a little earlier than the 3:00PM check in, so we went to a restaurant for a bite to eat. We weren’t able to get into our room until a little after 3:00...so if your plane gets there earlier in the day, you may have to wait a little bit for your room. The room and hotel was great. Exactly what we thought it was going to be. It is definitely a couples resort. Being an adults only resort was nice...no kids running around and we could really relax. Be sure to bring everything with you (sunscreen, etc) because the prices are kind of high in the stores at the resort. The restaurants were good for the most part. Very good food and the wait staff was very attentive. All in all, it was a great resort. Everything we expected it would be. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay there again if we went back to Cancun.

Done looking for a nicer place!
Unbelievable. Been all over the Carribean all inclusives and its the first place I’ve ever been to that was NICER than the pictures. Staff practically tripping over us the whole time trying to take care of us. Maid service and turn down service every day. Truly "All inclusve" -mini-bar, room service, hobi-cat sail boats, everything. Food was outstanding and the restaurants always offering "to make anything we want if its not on the menu". People so kind and considerate, always reminding us that they wanted everything to be "EXCELLENT". That was their motto and they lived up to it. I can’t wait to go back. One bit if advice, rooms are beautiful but the bathrooms are open with half wall between vanity and sleeping area, you can see and hear through. Only a glass shower type door to toilet. If you’re not there with someone you plan to be intimate with it could be a little akward. (Not a problem AT ALL for us!!) This is a place you definitely want to go to for couples and no kids if that’s what you are looking for. Recommend the swim-up ground floor room. Awesome.

Excellence 2010
Wonderful Resort! Definitely want to go back. Food was great, top shelf booze always available which is hard to find in Mexico. Service was not up to par, but hopefully it will get better. This resort isn’t very old so I am hoping that the staff will learn. Otherwise it couldn’t have been better!
