would go back
pros: new , clean, modern rooms, great shower, always well stocked with bottled water , pop and booze . Maids did a great job and left us with some cute towel animals. Amazing infinity pool overlooking the ocean also two pool bars were infinity as well! Another pool to swim laps or play games in and yet another pool further back for more quiet ( pool bar as well} Resort close to town/marina....taxi $10 each way ..less than 10 minute drive or can take a water taxi from your beach for $5 pp or can walk along beach to town if you’re in good shape (deep sand) Beach is amazingly beautiful and the views are spectacular! The ocean is too dangerous to swim but the infinity pool gives you the illusion that you are in the ocean and it’s GREAT cons: could use a lounge to sit/visit in the evenings. Only has the hotel lobby which is nice but does’t offer any coffe/tea/drinks and then an open courtyard area which has two bars which are slow and seem understaffed. No elevators and our king sized bed was 2 doubles pushed together no ATM in hotel (had to go to town to get money) The Scotia Bank does not give U.S. money so use the ATM machines in the marina they give both pesos and U.S. Must book alacarts at 7 am Overall: enjoyed and would go back

Birthday getaway
3 single girls and had an awesome time! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Hotel room was very clean. The refrigerator was well stocked and a liquor cabinet in the room....nice touch! The hotel brought me a bottle of tequila for my birthday. The food was mediocre. Guests were friendly too...loads of fun at the pool by the beach. Downfall were the peddlers on the beach. Overall, I had an excellent stay and excellent birthday!

I would love to go back if I were to be provided with a quiet room
For 3 of our 5 nights at this resort our neighbors in the next room were drunk, noisy and obnoxious. Slammed doors yelled, cried fought etc., beginning from 1:00 AM till about 5:00 AM. The second night security was called 4 times. Several of the guests in the surrounding rooms, including ourselves complained to the hotel staff. We even spoke with the hotel manager. We could not get any sleep during these hours and were very tired in the mornings. They offered to move us to another room, but after unpacking and settling down, we believed that they should move the offenders, and not inconvenice us. The hotel staff should have been more pro active with the noise makers. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful and we would definitely go back!
