Cant wait to go back for the third time
We were so impressed the first time we stayed we had to go back again, and the second time was just as eventful as the first. Absolutely beautiful and relaxing as anyone could ask for.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Get a car and just take off and drive and enjoy. Take a island tour first to learn the highlights then go off on your own.

A True Resort
This is such a large property that it requires a tram / boat ride from one end to the other but this affords multiple restaurants, pools and casual dining. Overlook the Dolphins playing from the Lagoon Grill or dress up for finer fare. The hotel lagoon had surprisingly good snorkeling without leaving the grounds, but when you venture out, youre near shopping and 45 minutes from Kona.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Really enjoyed the Polynesian Circle Island Tour and the Hula Kai Cheeseburger Snorkle Catamaran. If you only have a few days, great ways to experience a lot in a short time. "Fast Food" dining near by at Queens shops if trying to feed a family without taking out a loan.

Plan to take another trip to the Big Island and well be staying at the Waikoloa again.
The service was excellent and the staff was very accomodating. The overall experience was one that my grand daughter and grandson will always reflect on as a most enjoyable time on the Big Island.
