very nice, but

The hotel was very nice. Our "upgrade" was good for us, but others might have found the 1/2 mile trek to the pool , restaurant , and lobby from the room intimidating and confusing. The hotel is in a very nice location , with a wonderful 1 1/2 mile walk along the beach beside many lovely resorts. My only issues were with the checkout. I was charged for bottles of water that were in the room and not labeled that there was a charge for them,. When I informed the desk clerk that there was nothing on the bottles to indicate there was a charge for the water, she still charged me for the bottles of water. That doesn’t indicate that this hotel wants to keep guests happy and encourage them to return. The other issue was with the computer in the lobby to print boarding passes. This computer should not be in an open area when guests might have to enter credit card numbers and passersby can see confidential information. While I was using the computer there were 2 interuptions in service and I was uncomfortable that my information could be accessed. I got no help from the front desk personnel in this regard. The breakfast buffet that was included in our package deal was very good.

Maui , Yes we found Paradise!!!!

Hotel very nice, paid extra for partial ocean view, however, it was extremely partial....... and no balcony space to sit out on , in our particular room, hotel very nice, clean, but kind of small...... Overall, very nice, and if you get a chance to go to Maui...... go , you will find your Paradise here on earth!!!!!
