The Best in Van Nuys
I lived and worked in Van Nuys for 30 years and used the AirTel Hotel for many business conferences, and visiting businessmen. I have moved away for some 10 years but recently spent two nights there. It is as I remembered it, great service, clean, very nice restaurant with full services and a nice bar. The hotel has aged well. The prices were very reasonable for a good hotel and I like to watch the planes takeoff and land at the nearby Van Nuys Airport. Highly recommend.

It was good enough
The condition of the hotel was perfect, but the most important for me was that the hotel was clean. The only problem is that an airport exist next to the hotel. It is a small airport and has few flights. Also you need a car in order to visit all the views of the Los Angeles if you decide to stay there. But when you are in Los Angeles you need a car. Is next to highway and for that reason it is easy to visit every thing. If you want to have a cheap but good quality hotel then I suggest you to reserve a room in Airtel Plaza Hotel & Conference Center

A nice place away from downtown
my wife and I was very found of the hotel. the weather was very sunny so we was using the pool area the 3 last days we were there. it is extremly easy to drive to the different attactions and if you can wait driving until after 11 am and before 3 pm you can easily come around LA. restaurent was also fine and the rooms had what we needed for our stay. we didnt had time to see the stand up shows but could hear that averyone had a good time. we will come again
take route 101 from LA to San Diego and hope for a clear view. that is nice 3 hours to Vegas
