worth the inexpensive price

We were really lucky because we were going during the winter and got a very nice deal for the hotel. However, we did choose the city-view deluxe saver, so we didn’t get anything extravagant. The bed was shorter than a normal bed! We had to sleep diagonally because my boyfriend’s feet were hanging off the side. Also our refrigerator didn’t work, but we asked for a new one (twice) and within the day they came by to fix it. They didn’t listen to our requests though on our room, as we asked through Expedia for a room on the second floor near the elevator and got a room on the third pretty far back. And I know they weren’t even close to being fully booked. Oh well. The last complaint was the noise. The door has the WORST sound-proof and you can hear every single word coming from the hallway. The workers there screamed to each other from far away, they sang, and even did construction on the room next to us at 9am. Some good things: definitely a fantastic location. we never had to take a taxi because we were right downtown. The front desk was incredibly nice, friendly, and very helpful. The view was gorgeous. Even though we had asked for a city-view and based on the reviews I was expecting a pretty poor sight, it was looking right over the downtown area and I thought it was beautiful. They have a free shuttle service to Medano Beach, another plus. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, although if I had paid the normal rate I probably would not have felt the same way.

If you plan on going to Lover’s Beach, I highly recommend making a deal with some of the guys renting kayaks on Medano Beach. Get the kayak for the whole day because then you can spend the entire time kayaking out to Lover’s, relaxing, swimming in the water, eating a nice packed lunch on Divorce Beach, kayaking around the Arch, and just taking in everything without worrying. Other people we saw either took a water taxi and only spent a little time (maybe 2 hours) at the beaches, some never got to see the Arch, or they took a kayak and were rushing to get back to their rental site.

Great Location

Pool is outdated but fine to use. Location is the best. No water taxi to Medano beach but they do shuttle you to Pueblo Bonnita at certain times of the day. Hotel was not busy at all. We were there last week of October.

Ok first of all I must tell you that I am a Hotel Snob ! I always stay in 5 or 6 Star hotels. I always found great deals on Expedia ! But this year with the way the economy is I had to spend less money on my trip. Let me tell you I was nervous to book this although it had good reviews . Well to my surprise I ended up loving this Hotel . I was quite pleased with the room it has been remolded and the shower is beautiful , the bed Frame and furnature were in that classy deep brown wood you find in 5 star hotels. I stayed in a city view room , they offered to upgrade me to a Marina view for free and i declined because I had already setteled in my room and was quite comfortable there. One review on here said he saw a cocroach at the resteraunt in the Marina behind the hotel... I never saw one but please this is Mexico hot weather brings them out there are plenty in California etc. It is right on the Marina with beautiful views of the water , ocean and boats. The water taxies will take you to the other side of the Marina, the beach or on a tour of the arch. The hotel is right downtown in all the shoping, resteraunts and clubs within easy walking distance. I will stay here every year again. I loved it !!!

When you arrive if you find someone to share a Taxi with it is much Faster than the Shuttle busses and not that expensive. On the way home take the Shuttle that the Hotel provides for a fee it is cheaper than a Taxi and goes straight to the Airport without stopping. See the concierge for that.
