Dowtown Aruba - Marriott
Hotel was nice. Pool is small. Ocean Suites hotel across the street has better pool. Staff is friendly. Great bartenders

Very good hotel
Modern hotel, centrally located in downtown Oranjestad (shopping area). Most of the tourists oriented retaurants and night life is about 10-15 km, but there is frequent public transport (cheap). Private beach is very nice, though at times quite noisy due to proximity of airport (planes landing and taking off). Hotel offers hospitality rooms for late checkout, which is a positive.

Will Return Again
The Renaissance Resort and Casino was a great place to stay while vacationing in Aruba. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Great downtown location. Great restaurants and shopping nearby.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
If you visit the Renaissance’s Private Island, make sure you bring bug spray! Go parasailing and on the Jolly Pirates Scuba tour!!
