Aston Maui Lu
Resort with secluded cove on Sun Coast beachfront
In sunny South Maui
This rustic resort, renovated August 2008, is divided by a secluded cove and seems to be lost in paradise; set on 28 acres in South Maui, the Maui Lu is located near a Humpback whale education center.

Good buy
I needed to defrost 1" of ice off the refigerator coils, the toilet and ba. sink were leaking and all the front doors were tight so you had to slam them. I had an ocean view with nice views from the balcony. The room was spacious but the stairs to the up-stains bedroom were narrow and a little steeper than normal. All the staff were friendly and helpfull. The room was on the beach and a good buy but on- site parkinjg was limited.

Maui Lu - Convenient, peaceful, affordable, good location
Very friendly, and upgraded to a better location because of lack of avail king size bed. Room was peaceful with large balcony, near pool. Excellent location, and very affordable. The beach-side rooms (across the highway) are very nice and have their own private beach. The room on the very end (traveling guests got it) had a loft on the top and was one of the best hotel rooms you could imagine. Our room however was garden side (near pool) - very affordable room. Not the best but very comfortable and certainly worth the money. The premises is very large (23 acres?) so you may do some walking. Very laid back place to stay, and affordable. I would recommend. My one complaint was that the valve for the shower was touchy and hard to dial in.
