Our favorite on the island!

We stayed on the island for a little over two weeks. First two nights at a nice resort on the east coast. Then we rented a house for a week - an okay but not great experience. Next we stayed in Lihue at a large resort for a few days that was too big and it was a fifteen minute walk from our room to any of the restaurants or facilities. However, the Sheraton was just perfect! A bit smaller so it felt more intimate. We had exceptionally good service at check in. The men at the valet station could not have been more helpful. The cleaning service was spot on. And the restaurants were very good. Beautiful pool and beach. It was our favorite spot on the island and we would absolutely go back again.

Tiny worse than motel 6 bathrooms

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel thinking that a "partial ocean view" room would be nice and relaxing with the Sheraton name. The "partial view" was over a large parking lot, across the street, and more grounds of the hotel on the other side. The bathroom had one sinke outside in a space so small, my boyfriends and I could not stand next to each other, to even try sharing the sink. The separate bathtub/shower, and toilet were in a closet space so small, you could not get the soap without hitting the soap shelf with your hand, or literally falling out of the tub. I am in my 30s, with good balance, 5 foot 2 inches, and 110 pounds. Trust me, it was really, really truly terrible. Go elsewhere for the money. Not worth the price at all. The breakfast buffet consisted of alternating the same selection over and over again every other day. We signed up for the buffet with the room the whole week. What a mistake! Sometimes they didn’t even bother to fill the fruit trays when they were empty.
