THE MET Hotel Detroit -Troy

WORST HOTEL EVER!!!! STAY IN ANY OTHER HOTEL IN TROY OTHER THAN THIS ONE!

The Rooms: No fridge, small, and DIRTY. I turned on the heat and the room started to reek of burnt hair. I was afraid to take a shower because it was littered with long dark hairs. The bathroom was not cleaned properly and I was truly disgusted. I felt like I was staying at a motel where rooms are rented by the hour. ALSO, Free WIFI is a scam because the internet doesn’t work in the hotel rooms. My laptop connects everywhere else fine but couldn’t connect to their network... Business Center: I was forced to use it b/c the internet isn’t available in the rooms. However, the business center was a JOKE. There’s a music on/off switch on the wall... doesn’t work. No music period.. not even sure why they’d have a switch to point out their flaw here. The COMPUTER IS A JOKE. It’s not a real computer... it just runs the ramada’s version of Internet Explorer. I couldn’t even get yahoo.com to open on it. I restarted it 3 times to no avail. I think the entire place has no internet. Noise: Paper thin walls. The cleaning man work me up at 8am banging and slamming doors and his rickety cleaning cart. It was like he was trying to make as much noise as possible to annoy the heck out of me. He succeeded. I will never EVER be using a ramada in the future. This place totally ruined their brand and I will be telling everyone I know to AVOID the ramada at all costs
