OK but won’t go back
Some of it was good, and some not. The pools were good and one has a pool bar however the bartender acted like he was doing you a favor in getting your drings. The restaurant staff was much friendier and the tour guide was great The hotel need s a lot of maintenance. We had a big crack in our tile in the bedroom and the knob on the shower came off everytine we used it. The food however was great and most of the staff friendly The location was very good/ It was close to shopping and you could watch the cruise ships come in from our balcony in our room
Make sure you go to the French side of the island as well as the Dutch. The beaches are much better on the French side and life is more relaxed. However the Dutch side does have better shopping and casinos

sonesta great bay st marteen
you read alot of reviews and wonder why people say things negative.it could be how people comunicate we had problems from the start but they were handled so professional by the front desk staff. we were all inclusive and it was great even for a person that doesn’t like buffets at all. we go to the caymans every year and sonesta great bay will now become my 2nd trip a year . please tip the staff even though it is not required you will be surprised how much more the service and hello’s and good mornings you get. so let the hair down and be apart of a hotel that really trys rick from cape coral

can’t wait to go back
I have stayed at this hotel on more than one occasion and have found them to be very customer oriented. I especially enjoy the all-inclusive package that is well worth the cost.
