a secret in paris
if you desire to be close to all of the tourist attractions or desire to simply be left alone and go on an extended walkabout, this is the hotel for you. the staff is fabulously friendly, always willing to go the extra mile. the restaurant is superb and for once i can say, i have absolutely nothing to complain about. i will go back as often as i can

No air-conditioning during Paris heat wave.
Great location and would have been a great hotel but for the fact that the air conditioning was out at the hotel for the entire length of our stay. They could only supply a fan for 2 nights but the room was extremely uncomfortable and for a 4 star hotel cost, I am very disappointed and would have appreciated some $ refund.

Very nice!
Hotel Castille is extremely well located. It is walking distance to the Louvre, metro station and great restaurants. The staff is very nice and helped us with everything we needed. The room was very spacious and clean. My only complaint is that when we checked out, they tried to charge us for drinks we never had. I am pretty sure they try and do that to most guests... Apart from that, it was a great experience!
