perfect ny stay
I have spent many weekends in nyc and stayed at many classic hotels. The Surrey really surprised me. We had a basic room and it was perfect. The staff are all wonderfully friendly if excessively so. The bar is a great end of the day kind of place to hang out. I will choose the Surrey from now on when i want to have a special weekend (as opposed to work ) in NYC.

Our new favorite in NYC
Everything was just perfect. We were allowed to enter our room before noon and received a late checkout on the last day without any extra charges. Service is fantastic and everybody cares for the guests - from the doorman to the spa. The biggest "problem" was that I did not find a pillow that suited me well. This request was handled excellently. I’ve been to at least 10 different, nice hotels in NYC, this is definitely the best value for money and we are looking forward to come back.

Near Central Park and Museums
If you want a quiet stay near the Park on the Upper East Side, this little boutique hotel is top-notch. Staff is excellent. Great location. Expensive.
