good location for me
it’s close to where I need to go ... matilda is a little noisy... breakfast can be a little spotty but it’s good enough for me and the staff is friendly

acceptable for a short stay
The hotel is conveniently located at the intersection of I101 and 237. However, it also means that it is noisy. The staff is helpful, and tries to make the most of a rather rundown facility.

Repeat Visitors
We stayed at the Sundowner Inn again recently and it met our expectations. The hotel is convenient to 2 freeways. The traffic noise is not a problem in a first floor room and evenings are quiet after rush hour is over. Rooms have been remodeled and are clean. Breakfasts have been good and there has never been a problem with overcrowding in the breakfast room. Will be returning in December 2008.

Convenient to Mountain View and the many restaurants on Castro Street.
