Excellent value
My only complaint was the musty smell in our otherwise very clean room. We guessed that the source was from our rooms air-conditioning unit.

BEST VALUE ON ST. LUCIA!
Its location, service and price make it a GREAT value! This is our second visit! We got married on the property in the garden area between the Coco Kreole and Coco Palm. They upgraded our room to the Coco Palm over looking the pool area. Its fairly close to the beach (est. less than 300 yards)if you use the gravel road next to one of the older Rex hotels. Excellent shopping and resturants are within very close walking distances. They have live music performances and one of the islands best resturants. Its on the west side of the island and the sunsets were spectacular!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
For a tight budget get food at the grocery store just around the corner, also we had a few lunch dates at the Subway sandwich shop which is in the same shopping mall as the grocery store! They are building a new fancy shopping center next door.We did a fair amount of travel around the place and used the bus system which only cost ec $2 as the taxis are very expensive. We took tours around the island via bus and boat and went horseback riding on the beach.

great location, reasonable price
This budget hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the beautiful Riduit Beach, many nice restaurants and bars and a supermarket where you can buy drinks and snacks to stock in the fridge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, in fact the interior of the hotel and the rooms are decorated much nicer than many higher class hotels. You can use the big pool and the amenities of the adjacent sister hotel, Coco Palm. There is free parking in front next to the street if you have a rental car, and we experienced no safety issues. The only disadvantage may be loud music from the street until late night during the weekend, but we did not have problems in our poolside room. This may be an issue for the rooms facing the street, though.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
This is a great hotel for saving a few bucks, that you may use on extra activities in the island. Renting a car is the best way you can explore the whole island without spending crazy on the tours, if you dont mind the crazy left-sided traffic, narrow and zig-zag roads.
