Room For Improvement at this Inn
My wife and I selected this B & B based on it’s proximity to the beach, combined with our looking forward towards a comfortable room and a very special breakfast: PROS: The beach is just steps away. Beach badges are provided. Parking is ample, and on-site. Cafes for lunch are only a few minutes walk from the hotel. CONS: Noise from Rt.35, which fronts the hotel, was heard throughout the night. Our room had a private bath, yet the room was cramped, and the size of the shower was inadequate for an adult. The 13" TV was wall-mounted opposite the bed; not an enjoyable combination. Our toilet ran day and night. Both porches were uninviting. The quality of the breakfasts left something to be desired. the Inn-Keeper was only seen upon Check-In/Out. The bikes needed serious maintenance and/or replacement.
Traveler's tip on dining
Walk north from the hotel a few blocks to the Market Deli for lunch, directly on Main St. Also, try the Cafe on Bridge St., a block or two north from the Deli for both lunch and ice cream. Both places have wonderful fare.

Nice place to stay
Overnight business accommodations in areas you would not normally stay in can be a pleasant way to explore these new areas and break the tedium of travel. This place is quite nice, and comfortable. The breakfast menu is varied and cooked and with care and respect. It is nearby Lakewood, and therefore enables one to get business done too and stay nearby the beach.
