close to Times square
We were looking for a hotel close to the theatre district without paying a fortune. The price we received from Expedia for the Belvedere fit the bill.Clean ,older hotel. I would stay again.

this is the place for balance in price, comfort, and location
i was in NY primarily on business, so location to midtown was key. however, i found that the Belvedere was a step or 2 above some slightly less expensive hotels and even on par with others near the same price. rooms were spacious, bed very comfortable, service great. just remember to give some tips here and there as is the case in any good NY hotel. my last night i upgraded to the Executive King, and that gave me the Wow factor! definitely worth it even for 1 night. location not loud at all, but didnt get the best or worst view that ive had in NY. definitely must try the Brazilian Churascarria, which is the traditional all-you can Meat fest for which Brazil is famous. if you havent tried it before, and if you are a meat lover, then this is a must. great Caipirinhas (like a mojito) at the bar followed by the best cuts of meat that ive had in any churasscaria in the U.S. unless you plan to go to a nice establishment in Brazil, you wont match the quality here. great service from the bellboy Louis and Simon at the concierge!
