Pretty Bad Hotel But Cheap
This hotel is very run down but you get what you pay for. It’s dirt cheap and right off I-35. One perk is that it does offer a free breakfast with eggs, biscuits, sausage, waffles, cereal and pastries.

Cheap and convenient, no hidden charges
Convenient as a place to lay one’s head for both airport and downtown. No frills but includes wireless internet and local calls, reasonable breakfast. Maintenance is a bit spotty. Have stayed twice this year. Second stay, had to ask for phone to be replaced. TV remote had lost its battery cover and there were some ants in the bathroom. First stay was without problems.
If you are renting a car at the airport, the cheapest gas station for your final fill up seems to be at the Walmart on Ben White.

We were pleased with the hotel during our visit to Austin
We stayed there on a Saturday night. It was clean and very affordable for a King sized bed. We did not get to check out the pool. It is not in prime location being on the highway if you don’t have a car, we had to walk down the highway and then about 1/2 mile to get a bus. But, it’s one of the closest hotels to downtown that are actually cheap.
