Serenity
The Boulders frequently gets compared to the Four Seasons. Having stayed at both, I can report that they are similar - yet different. The Four Seasons has a newer, more luxurious appearance. The Boulders has a more remote and serene feel. You can’t go wrong with either hotel, but if you want to escape the city and commune with nature, the Boulders is a great choice.

Wow - really great place
We loved the setting- it was so natural, yet all of the amenities were there! The casita with balcolny just invited you to sit outside, watch the golfers and enjoy the birds dropping by for a visit. We liked the fact that you park your car when you arrive and then walk or call for a cart to deliver you throughout the resort. This is definitely a destination place. Not much in the surrounding area, but the hotel and resort took care of all our needs. Great Place!

Real spa, no tipping, gorgeous desert location!
I loved not having to have my wallet...five star service with no tipping. The spa was wonderful and serene. Our room was a cozy adobe with fireplace and balcony. All rooms are tucked in the desert landscape and very private. We’re going back next year!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
The resort is pretty far from the airport so you’ll need to rent a car. There is no charge for parking at the resort. Get off the resort for some food. Eat at Tonto’s in Cave Creek and the Spotted Donkey. Plan to golf at the resort because the course is gorgeous. Go there to relax and spa. There is no nightlife.

Book a stay in a “Winter Escapes” rate category November 15, 2009 – March 31, 2010 for travel November 15, 2009 – March 31, 2010 and receive the following:
