Too Noisy
The hotel itself is nice but too much noise if you are on the 2nd floor from the top floor, we heard everytime the family above moved. They had little kids and it was very noisy. Also the condo we stayed in did not have near the anemities that our friends had in theirs.

A FABULOUS PLACE TO STAY!
The Fairway Villas were absolutely gorgeous. The grounds immaculate. Quiet with a beautiful view of the golf course. The villa that I stayed in (F-22) was the the most beautiful condo I have ever stayed. Cherry cabinetry, granite countertops, huge bedrooms, tall ceilings, wonderful view, impressive decorating. I could go on and on. Waikoloa Village was designed with great vision. There is no need to leave the area to want for anything. Wonderful restaurants and top-end shopping. The golf courses are spectacular. The beach area has turtles sunning everyday. I would have guessed to pay twice what the rate is offered through Expedia! What a deal! Not only would I return, I’d considering staying........what a wonderful place to retire!!!
Traveler's tip on shopping
Just south of Waikoloa is Kona. There are all the usual mainland stores for any of your needs- Walmart, Officemax, fast food, etc. This is good if you have something you forgot or you want to buy your snorkeling gear.

We will be back next year.
This was the second year in a row that we have stayed in the Fairway Villa’s. I will go back again next year. I have visited the Kona Coast for the last 25 years and Love it. Excellent Location for families with all ages, from children to seniors. Also thinking about going back for the Holiday’s
