Albert at Bay - great place to stay
I stayed at the Albert at Bay for 2 nights back in September. There are ads all around Parliament area advertising their "Really, Really big suites" and I have to say it is quite true. This is a converted apartment building but the rooms are very nice (proper seating area, full kitchen, coat closet in hall, storage closet in suite, bedroom with large closet, 2 bathrooms). For me a dramatic change from the typical hotel room where you can see everything no matter where you stand in the room.
Traveler's tip on dining
Tokyo Sushi 248 Kent Street (about 7 blocks) is very good. Very small, no liquor license but good sushi. Reasonably priced as well. 222 Lyon - tapas. Incredible food and wine.

Not Impressed
The hotel garage was under construction so noise from early morning and our car got lots of dust. Lobby was renovated and look great, but when you get to the room, the room was aged and furniture was old. The good part was the room was big with dinning room and kitchen and staff was friendly and helpful.
