Venice hotel - if you like no a/c
The hotel was situated centrally to St. Mark’s but it wasn’t that great. First off, the a/c wasn’t working and when we told the front desk, they said it was too late to have someone check it. They would send someone the next day. Never got done and we suffered sleeping in a stuffy room. Also the foul smell of the outside water came through to our bathroom and we had to make sure the shut the bathroom door or have that nasty smell waifing through the room.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Don’t use the water taxis, they are overpriced. Use the water ferries instead.
