Always returning
The charm of this hotel is undeniable, very old fashioned. The rooms are great although they lack of nice beauty products, usual for this range of classy hotel. Ginza on one side, Hibiya Park on the other, the location is quite central. The range of restaurants in the hotel is very convenient when you are too lazy to go out.

The Imperial is Exceptional
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, located in one of the cleanest, safest, and most well run cities we have ever visited. The Imperial was outstanding in every respect, and well worth paying a bit more than some other hotels in Tokyo.
Multiple Tips: Fall is an excellent time to go, Spring is probably even better. After visiting Thailand last year, the air travel time was much shorter from the US, making a brief (5 days) city visit to Tokyo manageable, and worthwhile. The Metro map looks like spaghetti, but the Metro is easy to use, efficient, and very low cost compared to taxi or limousine. We would recommend the Grey Line City Tour for the first day of your visit. It would have taken 2-3 days to see all of the same attractions on our own using public transportation.
