Fantastic hotel for a great price.
It was a great experience with excellent service. Its too bad the elevator is being replaced as it definitely added to the experience.

Great location & value for the money
Hotels in DC can get pretty pricey. This was a very clean, decent & comfortable hotel for the money. For two or three nights stay it is perfect. Cant beat the location. The ladies in reception were a little snooty when I checked in but had warmed up some by the time we checked out - otherwise the staff were friendly and professional. Personally I enjoyed the ancient attended elevator, which I understand is the last remaining in DC and soon to be replaced.

Pleasantly surprised-coming back in April.
We came to DC to bury my husbands mom at Arlington. Were expecting a budget experience and were pleasantly surprised by this lovely little hotel. The location is walking distance to the Metro, DuPont Circle, the Capitol, Georgetown and so much more. It was nice to have a doorman to help with bags, etc and all of the staff was friendly, helpful and professional. We loved the birdcage elevator and the asian style of the room. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, comfortable and relaxing. Housekeeping was AM & PM so we didnt miss out if we slept in. The newspaper was at the door every AM and chocolates on the pillows before bed. We had a wonderfully comforting stay and look forward to returning in April for a wedding.
