Surprised to be disappointed!
Our favorite part were the comfy beds and linens. Most of the staff were indifferent or condescending unless there was a potential gratuity. Housekeeping missed our room twice in three nights and repeated calls proved pointless. Room service daily was fine until the last morning when server was indignant that I asked him to simply set the tray. It was early and three of my four teens were sleeping and I wanted to keep it warm. Huge overreaction considering 18% is appropriately added to room service checks. In addition, the hostess at the mid range restaurant acted more the role of bouncer. After an hours wait, the meal was barely mediocre for the price point. The casual pool restaurant was fine. Overall, we were far happier several months ago at the Swan and Dolphin where we were treated extremely well and as a single mom traveling with four young adults, it matters. This resort has all the impersonality of a convention hotel.

Nice amenities, great location, a little dated
The location to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is great. The lake and boardwalk are convenient. It took us 10 minutes to walk to the entrance of Epcot and the boat quickly took us to Hollywood Studios. We thought for the price that the decor would be nicer. We also stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge which seemed much richer. Transportation around WDW is not an issue since there is always a bus or boat going to where you want to be. If you want location, a big sprawling pool, higher room rates and dont mind out-dated decor then this is a great choice. Other resorts can offer similar but richer amenities and lower room rates.
