Victorian Inn Monterey - A treat!
Went to Monterey just for an overnight stay and it was like being on a week’s vacation! Service was perfect - they served wine and cheese at 4 PM which was delightful. The room with the fireplace was so cozy and made us feel as if we had paid a lot more. And the location could not have been better for enjoying Cannery Row and many restaurants. Just loved it!

pleasant stay
nice value, spacious rooms although musty. Balcony a bit gritty, but still groovy to have one. Shower needs a makeover but functional. Had to unload car to to avoid scraping the concrete of the parking entrance. Walked to all attractions. friendly staff. Breakfast attendant cheerfully supplied a tray when requested to take bagels and juice for two up to the room. The few negatives were truly outweighed by the pleasant stay and quaintness of the property. Will book again.

so so accomidation, old hotel
This place has the location, close to the water, and canary row, but I was not too pleased with the service, I booked room on the street side they gave me room on the court side, till I complain they changed it, and there is $12 per night charge for parking ( which was not in the price list), bathroom had a damp smell like mel dew. and could not use thier internet in my room.
Go there when kits are in school, otherwise prices are a lot higher (like four times higher)
