Great choice
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great central location--just few blocks down the street from Independence Hall and Liberty Bell, surrounded by good restaurants, minutes from airport and major attractions. It’s a historic hotel so lots of ambiance, well maintained and friendly staff. Hot breakfast was another plus. I’d definitely stay here again.
Traveler's tip on dining
Just 2 blocks away, near the river, is a fabulous Afgan restaurant called Kabal. We joined friends who’d purchased an online discount coupon so dinner for 4 was very inexpensive and food was absolutely wonderful. We’d never had this type of cuisine before but will look for again soon.

Good hotel - great location
Hotel was located in a safe, busy area. Easy walk to all major attractions. Numerous restuarants close by. Many historic streets, attractions, mounuments near-by. Continental breakfast was great.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If renting a car, use enclosed parking garage near City Tavern. Phlash trolly system is convienent and cheap. Not much to see at Penn’s Landing.
