Perfect place for relaxation
Small place situated in a quiet area 100 m from the tourist crowds. Charmingly furnished with that old-world atmosphere. Front desk personnel is extremely helpful: you will have a complete impression of staying in a private home and being a special guest. Morning coffee which is brought to your room 5 min after your call is really, really good. Our room was rather small but very nicely furnished, the only thing which was not convenient is WC separate from bathroom. Terrace cafe is actually situated actross the canal, and definitely worth a visit. Swimming pool is not big but in perfect order. Would highly recommend to stay in this hotel as long as you can afford time- and moneywise.
Traveler's tip on dining
Brugges best restaurants are around the corner at the fishmarket. Die Visserie is outstanding but on the expensive side. The neighbouring place, (?) Goulden Karpel, run by young couple, is equally good and much less expensive.
