We couldn’t have stayed at a nicer hotel; it was definitely centrally located, within walking distance to dining, shopping and just plain exploring. All the employees at the hotel should be commended as well....

A Small Hotel Charmer in Downtown Santa Barbara
Despite reading concerns about service levels I was pleasantly surprised with our family’s stay. This Hotel is definitely a four star facility. Our suite was well appointed, clean and relatively roomy. Room service was prompt and breakfast prices very reasonable. Housekeepers were friendly and did a good job. Management was very attentive. This Hotel is directly across from Sak’s and only one block from State Street’s shops, restaurants, movie theaters and two blocks from the downtown mall. A Ralphs grocery store is conveniently located less than a block away. If you are looking for a Santa Barbara Resort with those type amenities go to the Four Seasons, San Ysidro Ranch etc. If you want to be in town there is probably no nicer hotel. Good job Canary!!

Beautiful hotel
Wonderful ambiance. Great restaurant/bar, gorgeous roof pool, gorgeous rooms. only issue- request a room with best view as I overlooked gas station.
