Rustic and Nice
Colter Bay’s cabins date back to the early 1900s but are beautifully rustic and immacutely clean. My only concern was a very small wall heater that barely provided enough heat on cold nights, but the warm bedding mader up for it! The cabins are situated in a beautiful forest. No cooking is allowed but the location is convenient to a store and restaurant. No TV, no telephone - it was wonderful, and a true "get-away" from the everyday world. An excellent compliment to the magnificent Grand Tetons. I hope to go back again, soon!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Serenity, peace and quiet. The Grand Tetons are magnificent to look at and simply meant to be "seen." Their beauty is to be pondered and enjoyed. You’ll want to take countless pictures, and DO take a Snake River float trip!

Great place in the middle of the park
The hotel is very conveniently located next to the Colter bay marina. The cabins are great and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent stay
We stayed at several places in the Tetons and Yellowstone. I was thrilled with the cabins, clean, quite and quite roomy. Beds are typical, but I was only there to sleep. It was the best accommodations of my trip.
