Great experience
Quiet but convenient location. Old world atmosphere with modern conveniences. Great restaurant where we ate two of our four nights. And we got a great rate.

Will definately use again - great location
Was only there for one night but very impressed with the rooms. A room at the back of the hotel on the 3rd floor gives some great views over Edinburgh down to the Forth. Only had breakfast but been to Bonhams for lunch and the food is great.

nice hotel
We liked the quite location, although we did have to take a taxi to most everywhere. The hotel has no air conditioning and it was very warm. We asked for a fan but nothing was ever delivered. Bring your own travel clock. There was no clock in the room. We had to rely on getting the time from our cell phones even though we were trying to keep them off. The one person doing all the work at the front desk was in inexperienced intern. He was very nice but......
