yellowstone digs!
i was very satisfied with this hotel. the staff were courteous, helpful, prompt in responding to my concerns, and extremely friendly. the place was SPOTLESS-you could eat off the floor! the conti. breakfast was basic, but exactly as advertised. the food was more than acceptable-fresh, always replenished, and well kept. if i stay in gardiner my next visit to yellowstone, this will be my first choice.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
traffic can get backed up getting into the park, so get an early start. the two bit saloon had some excellent menu choices.

very nice and clean
We had a great stay and enjoyed coming back each evening to a clean room and restuarants and other places to eat at close enough to walk to. It was nice having a fridge in our room and we were surprised to know they had a continental style breakfast. We had a great stay for our 25th anniversary.

The City Cafe had great food and friendly service. Try their biscuit and gravy for breakfast!
