Fantastic

Adobe Grand Villas is an expensive accommodation, but well worth it. The room was exceptional - from the comfort of the king size bed, to the patio, the free snacks in the room, the breadmaker, and the waterfall shower, I’ve stayed in many great hotels around the world and this was clearly among the top 5 rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The daily breakfast was outstanding - and both mornings the chefs came out to personally make sure we enjoyed our meals. The first morning, crepes were being served - but we felt like eggs. So they made us an omelette and eggs to order. We then asked if we could try the crepes, and Jacqueline, the lovely french chef, said that she would be "honored" if we tried her crepes. They were phenomenal. I will definitely stay in AGV when I return to Sedona.

Everything First Class

Everything at this hotel was nicely put together from the decor to the luxurious big bed, everything worked and it was great. The bread in the bread machine was a nice touch but we forgot to turn the sign for the second night to have them make more bread. Nightly appetizers and cookies were tasty as was the breakfast. Good service. Definitely recommend.

Hidden Gem in Sedona

I had no idea you could find such a unique bed & breakfast in Sedona, AZ. The rooms are huge and the themed finishing is wonderful. We stayed in the paris boutique, it was absolutly gorgeous. Their pool and spa are lovely, and the food was great. But the absolute best part of our whole stay was the fresh baked bread in your villa. What a unique way to make your rooms smell wonderful.

Beautiful place but do not bring children!

It is very sad such a nice place has a policy to charge you an absurd amount above what was published and paid at Expedia for children. We have a very well behaved 7 and 15 year old sons who stay in our room with us and did not want their breakfast but the Adobe Grand Villas still demanded an addition $70 per night for the kids. I have stayed at the nicest Ritz, Four Seasons and other B&Bs with them and no other hotel has done this. In fact most welcome them with free kids gifts/kits. This tells me this B&B does not want kids and families there. The woman was rude when I suggested they should not do this and I asked to talk to owner and she said he was busy.

Beautiful, serene, quiet place to recharge

We stayed here for a mother-daughter trip. The Antiquities Villa was perfect for two chicks looking for a feminine, luxurious spot to recharge and get ready for some hiking in the hot weather. The fresh, leisurely gourmet breakfast was great. Staff was very gracious. Only tough spot was the 11 am check-out, which seemed too early given that breakfast was not open until 8:30 am.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Be sure to get out and see the rocks of Sedona at sunset. Don’t bother with the airport. Head east and find a spot off the road to yourself. Be sure to take care with the parking restrictions.

Very Romantic!

This was a fabulous place! A total surprise from my Internet shopping. Unusual and unique, freshly baked bread in your room when you first come in; small courtyard attached to your room, beautiful fountain outside the front door. Really an unusual value. Thank you--it was great!

Extraordinary room, disappointing breakfast

We had certain expectations when booking this hotel that charges $ XXX - $ XXX a night during peak season. Even if we paid "only" $ XXX,- we thought that the breakfast would at least meet the standards for this hotel category. While the room exceeded our expectations and we found that a lot of thought was spent to little details (even the toilet paper was decorated...) the overall experience was overshadowed by the "full breakfast" that consisted of a tasteless omelet without any fillings or spices. no alternatives were offered, the only other thing that was served was a glass with some berries and watermelon pieces. I was at least expecting some fresh brewed coffee, but coffee was not served at all. We were told to help ourselves in the reception area - there was a thermos can with something that I would rather describe as dishwashing water. probably they use one spoon of coffee to brew one gallon... even the complimentary coffee that my Chase branch offers is 10 times better than what this "luxury" hotel was able to prepare. We did not finish our "full breakfast" and went somewhere else after we checked out. Our room was not ready when we arrived around 3:30 pm, (check in time was supposed to be 3:00 pm) we had to wait until 4:00 pm, reducing the time that we had paid for from 20 hours to 19 hours. I was expecting the manager to give us some extra time for our check-out as a compensation but she insisted that we should leave at 11 am.

Traveler's tip

Avoid this place if you consider yourself a discriminating gourmet. Recommended if you plan to have your breakfast and your dinner somewhere else.

Excellent

A very nice, romantic and private bed and breakfast. If you want attendants at your beck and call at all hours, go somewhere else. If you want to be left alone in tasteful opulence with most everything you’ll ever need already provided for you, this is the place.

Awesome

The staff was great and go the extra mile for you. The room was huge and cozey. My wife and loved the fresh baked bread in our everynight. The snacks and free water bottles was just another touch of class. Would stay again in a heart beat. The only bad thing was our 3 day stay went to fast.

Traveler's tip

Get the cactas fries at the cowboy club. Bring your hiking shoes. Do a jeep tour.

Excellent Bread and Breakfast lodging

The hotel is one of the nicest B&B’s I have ever stayed at. The staff, food and views were excellent. This lodging is away from any of the Sedona traffic. It is quite , private and very comfortable. I will always return to stay here while in Sedona. It is not cheap but it is very nice. The themes to each room make it very unique and interesting. A true change from the normal hotel stay.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Drive to down town Sedona and stay at quite peaceful place that has only 15 unique and seperate rooms each with a different theme

The Grand Villas deliver

For our first visit to Sedona, we wanted to unwind in a secluded and spacious location. The rooms here were all recently remodeled and individually themed...very creative! Our room was a Country Garden theme with an enourmous bathroom. The food was prepared by a lovely French chef and light, but tasty. Very friendly staff. The location is about 2 miles from the downtown part of Sedona, so convenient. Would come back again for sure!

Take a walk behind the villas for an amazing view of the canyons!

NO VIEWS

The Adobe Grande Villas offer no views of the famous Sedona Red Rocks. The rooms are nicely decorated each with it’s own theme, but far too expensive for what is offered.

Excellent B&B

Perhaps the best room we have ever stayed in and we travel a lot. Excellent hotel choice, friendly staff.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Rent a car and get a map of Sedona area and just go driving. Ask the staff for the best roads to get into the Red Rock Country. We had a jeep thus we could get off onto some really rough roads. But Jeep tours are the best way to see.

Incredible boutique bed and breakfast

If luxurious relaxation with your loved one is what you are looking for, this is the place. Only about 15 rooms, very well appointed, fresh bread in your room every day! Breakfast is incredible, as well as the staff service. Will definitely come back for another four day stay.

Do Not Miss Staying at this Extraordinary B&B

We travel all over the World and found the Adobe Grand Villas to be one of our top five. People make any business and the staff at the Adobe are superior. We stayed two nights in the French Quarter. The staff took us on a tour of the other 17 rooms which are all unique. Steve completes each room in a different theme. None of the rooms are alike. Steve is completing the last double top secret room and we will be one of the first to stay in it! Michael is the head chef and the food is divine. They allow access to the kitchen 24/7 and you can cook your own food late at night if you desire after a night out on the town. The nightlife in Sedona is poor. We dinned and then went seeking live music and dancing. The Martini bar closed the live music at 10PM on a Saturday night. The Olde Sedona is across the street and more for the younger crowd but we had a great time. Not live music but the best Sedona has to offer. Do NOT miss staying at the Adobe.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

The nightlife in Sedona is absent. We tried to find live music on a Saturday night and found one place, the Martinibar. The live music closed at 10 PM on a Saturday night.

Very impressed

Late arrival welcomed by the smell of freshly baked bread in your room?... I travel a LOT and always try to stay in the best hotels and this one exceeded my expectations. Lovely rooms and decor. Great staff and food. From now on, I will not stay anywhere else when I’m in the Sedona area.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Take an extra day to make sure you spend enough time in the hotel! I know we have the mountains and canyons but this would be well worth your while...

A Wonderful Surprise

Lovely suite. Good location. Fabulous breakfasts. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Close to some decent restaurants. A small example of how the place is managed is as we were being shown our accommodations, I noticed a pleasant aroma. There was a bread machine in the room and fresh bread was baking. The only drawback was there is absolutely no view from the suite. BUT-- A two minute drive north up the street it is on brings some of the most spectacular views in all of Sedona. You will not find this in a guide book as this is a residential neighborhood.

An eye-opening luxury experience

We’ve stayed at some nice places, but Adobe Grand Villas was over the top! Fresh baked bread was waiting in our villa when we checked in. Had two fireplaces - including one next to the jetted tub in the huge bathroom. Our western-themed suite (they all have different motifs) featured a chuck-wagon converted to a king bed, saddles, boots, spurs and guns on the wall, clapboard floors etc. etc. We had a private (and romantic) patio outside our bedroom that had its own waterfall. Homebaked cookies at night, and a french toast breakfast rounded out the experience. I cannot recommend this place too highly.

Amazing Villa

We stayed in the Tuscany Villa, and it was gorgeous. The bedroom with the side kitchen was extremely spacious, and the bathroom was huge. The staff was very helpful with restaurant selection, and the chef made an amazing breakfast; our favorite was the fresh-made croissant. Our only regret was that we only stayed one night.

Lavish and Comforting!

Sedona doesn’t need too much more praise than it already receives; it truly is a spectacular place. But this property should be praised to the heavens for the quality of service they deliver! From the moment we arrived, (a bit weary from a long drive and day of sightseeing), we were greeted by friendly staff and yummy snacks in the main villa. Then we were off to relax in our own private, magnificent villa. As soon as I stepped inside, I was sorry we didn’t book additional time in Sedona...just so I could stay in the room - it was THAT awesome! The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and the view was awe-inspiring from our balcony. Thank you for a wonderful stay here, Expedia! Without the great price you had for this property, we wouldn’t have been able to afford such an indulgent, fabulous stay in Sedona. Fellow travelers - put this one on your list. It is simply the best!

Traveler's tip on shopping

Check out all the shopping areas, not just the main strip. Tons of little shops dot this town - do your homework! It is SO worth it!
