I made this reservation for my daughter and she was quite satisfied with the overall experience. I only have one complaint - when making the reservation I specifically requested that my daughter be placed in a room near the front desk and not by an elevator due to noise. My daughter was placed in a room on the fourth (4th) floor and directly next to the elevator. Doesn’t anyone read the special requests attached to the reservation? I would hope that in the future this would be accommodated.

Good Value Hotel
It’s comfortable, clean, convenient to the airport. I stayed there on two separate occasions, both stays were very pleasant. Just remember, it is close the airport, so, you will hear jets flying in and out.
When traveling out to see Multnomah Falls, get off the interstate highway and see all of the other magnificent falls and views along the way.

try one of the newer hotels in the same neighborhood
This is an OK place but I was disappointed that the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. The following night I stayed at another newer place nearby. I think that spoiled me. For the same $ I stayed in a place that was newer and more comfortable.
Just remember that there’s no sales tax when you shop in Portland, so if that tips the balance on something you want to buy ...
